Join us for our first ever entrepreneurship@UBC Immersion week! 

 

This week-long event is for our UBC community of students, staff, faculty, and alumni and entrepreneurship@UBC ventures, along with BC's innovation ecosystem to come together with the purpose of demystifying entrepreneurship in the innovation economy. 

 

entrepreneurship@UBC Immersion Week will have three tracks of content across 5 days. Hear from distinguished speakers in AMA, fireside and panel style events, while you network and engage with the entrepreneurship@UBC community.

Track 1: Entrepreneurial Leadership & the Future of Work 

 

We have entered into an era that has quickly become a dynamic breeding ground for transformative leadership. Both entrepreneurship and the jobs created as a result, require big thinking, perseverance and a broad range of cutting edge skills. Learn how career paths are evolving and why entrepreneurship is more important than ever before in Track 1: Entrepreneurial Leadership & the Future of Work.

 

Track 2: Opportunities in The Innovation Economy 

 

Are you equipped to join the innovation economy? Entrepreneurship could be your vehicle to getting your game-changing ideas out into the world. Industries are ripe for disruption and the future of work has a new digital landscape. Explore how you can build a thriving and disruptive business in Track 2: Opportunities in The Innovation Economy, where you will hear from speakers across industries about how they launched their product, found their customers and are driving economic, social and environmental impact through entrepreneurship. 

Track 3:  HATCH Foundations

 

Track 3: HATCH Foundations is exclusively for HATCH Accelerator ventures, designed to power their venture building journeys through curated sessions and workshops on topics including operationalizing culture, hiring and building an executive team, presentation skills and more. HATCH founders are led through sessions that will lay the groundwork for them to accelerate their growth through  entrepreneurship@UBC.
